Kennedie

Kennedie is doing so many new things that it is hard to keep up. She started walking recently, and it is too cute to see her go! She still only has three teeth, but is working on three more. She is a child with a strong will, and likes to tease her sister. She couldn't be more different than Kyler. Kyler likes organization, Kennedie hates it. If anything looks like it is in place and neat, then it is her mission to make it unorganized. Once she got a taste of real food, she is having no more baby food. She can eat as much as her sister. She likes to sit on anything that is just her height, so her favorite perch is in the fridge if she sees it open long enough!! She is getting ready to move into the toddler room at daycare which makes me sad because I love the teachers in the baby room. Mommy is having a hard time with the little one growing up so fast, and her baby stages have gone by so quickly. She has started to blow kisses, and it is entirely too cute. God has blessed us indeed with two beautiful baby girls!

Kyler

Kyler seems to have more of a social schedule than Chad and I combined with school programs, play group, dance class, and getting ready for kindergarten. She has two play group sessions left, and I pre-enrolled her for kindegarten yesterday. I don't think she is going to be happy when she realizes that she has to have four immunizations before going to school. She had a music program for her preschool class last week. She had quite the fan club there with me, Chad, Mamaw, Papa, Gigi and Grandpa all there with plenty of cameras. She did really well. She has a dance recital coming up in May. She is going to do a Little Bo Peep dance for the ballet part, and she gets to wear a very sparkly red outfit for the tap part. She is not real thrilled with dance class because, "all we do is Little Bo Peep over and over, and I want to do Funny Little Bunny and Quack Goes the Duck." Apparently those are dances that they did early in the semester to learn the basics of ballet. Mommy has some adjusting to do with her costume for Little Bo Peep, and I think we never knew how much it would cost to just be in dance class and have a recital. I guess it is just gearing us up for the future with two daughters!! We figure that she will probably want to so something different in the fall. She mentions soccer a lot. We may have to make a go of that. The church has upward soccer where they play soccer and learn about Jesus at the same time. Sounds like a good program to me!

Here is our family on Easter.

Chad, Shawna, Kyler (4 years old) and Kennedie (14 months)

We decided to jump on the bandwagon and start a family blog.

Once I figure out how to upload pictures... I will.
